Your Journey, Your Pace, Your Story.

I’m a person-centred counsellor with a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.
My own life journey showed me just how powerful and transformative counselling can be.
Like many people, I’ve faced moments where I felt stuck, unsure of who I was or what direction
to take. Through counselling, I began to reconnect with myself, embrace my imperfections,
and live more honestly free from shame and the weight of other people’s expectations.
While I’ve made progress on my journey, I remain a learner. Healing isn’t a destination,
growth, self-discovery, and acceptance are lifelong processes. I continue to evolve every day.
It’s this lived understanding that inspires me to support others as they find their own path.
I know first-hand that the journey is rarely straightforward. It includes twists, pauses,
setbacks, and quiet moments of clarity and I’m here to walk alongside you wherever you are.
How I Work
I work in a person-centred way, which means I won’t tell you what to do or try to “fix” you, because you’re not broken. My role is to offer a warm, accepting, and honest space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings safely, at your own pace. I’ll be alongside you as you discover what feels right for you. Although my approach is gentle and non-judgemental, I will also offer thoughtful challenge when needed especially if I notice beliefs or patterns that may be holding you back. This isn’t about telling you what to do, but helping you see things from different angles so you can make choices that truly feel right for you.
I recognise that every person’s experience is unique. Whether you’re seeking support for adoption-related issues, a specific life challenge, or a general sense that something feels off, I’ll meet you where you are. Together, we create a space where you feel supported, empowered, and able to reconnect with your own inner strength.
A little bit more about me
I was born in Hong Kong and adopted as a baby, and I now live in the UK. As an adult adoptee, I understand the lifelong impact adoption can have including questions of identity, feelings of loss, abandonment wounds, and challenges with belonging.
In recent times, I made contact with my birth mother, which gave me a deeper understanding of the complexities, emotions, and challenges involved in adoption, reunion, and navigating two histories.
Alongside my private practice, I volunteer one day a week at Mind, a respected mental health charity. This has allowed me to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences, deepening my understanding of the many ways mental health struggles can appear in people’s lives.
I hold an enhanced DBS check and am committed to providing a safe, ethical, and inclusive practice.
You’re Welcome Here
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, searching for clarity, or simply want someone to talk to, I’m here to listen, without judgement or expectation. Whatever your story, and however it began, you deserve to be heard and supported.
Let’s take the next step, together.
